Sorry I haven't written in a few days. Things have been crazy busy. I am leaving for Detroit for work in a few hours and am trying to get this in before I go. I have been getting so excited to eat! I bought lots of yummy healthy food at Wegman's the other day and can't wait to begin cooking. I am bringing all my lemonade supplies with me and checking my bag for a 24 hour trip. I can't just start eating normal out of nowhere, I'll get sick. I am feeling good, like I am almost done. I could definitely go on for longer, but I miss the taste of food. I am going to try to eat as healthy as I can. I will eat foods if I want them, but in moderation. I am going to go as vegan as possible... but I still love cheese! I am not going to give all dairy up completely, just cut back on it as much as I can.
Today is the 10th day! At the end of the day today I could feasibly stop if I wanted to. This trip is making that difficult though. I am going to go on until at least Thursday, we will see how far I make it through the weekend. My tentative plan is to begin drinking juice Friday and cook soup Saturday when I actually have the time to. Part of my wants to see how long I can go, but my more reasonable side says enough, eat! I feel better, I look better in my clothes and I'm inspired to work out and be more healthy all around. I am feeling like my cleanse is nearing it's end. I think you know when you should stop, you need to listen to your body. I know some people have done this for weeks at a time and may have needed to, but I think around 2 weeks will be sufficient for me.
